The position is responsible for working with underwriting and lending staff to develop, structure and close agricultural, commercial, and consumer loans as well as maintaining and servicing existing loan portfolios. In addition, this person will develop a business referral network to represent the bank and attract new business by marketing the bank's products and services. Successful candidate's will possess a college degree in a business related field (finance, accounting, economics, etc.); minimum 3-5 yrs. banking experience with demonstrated knowledge of finance, accounting, and economic principles and best practices within the banking and financial markets; or a combination of education and experience

1.    Build and maintain strong customer relationships between the lending institution and the consumer
2.    Maintain complete confidentiality in all areas of work
3.    Demonstrate thorough knowledge of the banks products and services
4.    Evaluate loan applications and documentation for credit worthiness
5.    Analyze clients personal, business or financial needs and develop a course of action to meet those needs
6.    Maintain and update credit/loan portfolio on a regular basis
7.    Attend meetings as scheduled
8.    Maintain current and thorough knowledge of all bank policies, programs, procedures, and regulatory requirements
9.    Address customer questions and complaints with respect, take timely and appropriate action when within authority to resolve or consult a sr. officer when appropriate.

The position will manage more complex commercial loans in agriculture and commercial credit. Successful Candidates will possess a college degree in a business related field (finance, accounting, economics, etc.): minimum 7 years commercial lending experience, and/or 10 years banking experience with demonstrated knowledge of finance, accounting, economic principles and best practices within the banking and financial markets: or a combination of education and experience.
