Holton recognized by Legislature

The Oklahoma State Legislative passed a concurrent resolution recognizing the legendary status of F.L. Holton Jr., and mourning his loss on April 12.

Holton, a longtime chairman of Central National Bank in Poteau, as well as an OBA 50-Year Club member, died on Nov. 15, 2009. In honor of his memory, the Legislature passed the resolution honoring him.
