IRS makes tax centers available on Web site

In an effort to continue to improve the quality of product offered, IRS is making the tax centers available on IRS.gov. This means instead of providing you a Word or text file containing code that has to be copied to your website, it now has direct links to the appropriate Tax Center on IRS.gov. Additionally, it now has several related industry and professional sites available that you can add to your Web site.

The new IRS online Tax Center will give you the assurance of having the most accurate and up to date version of the tax center at all times with very little effort to post and no maintenance. A full listing of the industry and professional related sites can be found at the following link: http://www.irs.gov/businesses/small/industries/index.html.

A few of the great benefits of converting the old IRS Tax Center to the new online IRS Tax Center are:

  • No more broken links! When you link to one of the online tax centers, you will not have to deal with broken links.
  • Saves Web "real estate." You can now house just the links to the page itself (or pages) and not devote a large piece of your valuable Web real estate to a template.
  • Adding a link to your site is easier! It is much easier to add a single link or even several links than uploading a tax center template.
  • Using an online center means that the content is more current. Subject matter experts review the pages and can add additional material that becomes available. Obsolete material is also removed. You don't have to do a thing.
