Ada banker thanks local law enforcement

The following is a letter from Jimmy Eppler, president of Citizens Bank in Ada. A branch of Eppler's institution was robbed on Oct. 21, but through quick action from the local police, two suspects are already in custody.

I would like to thank the men and women of the Ada Police Department for their quick and thorough response to the robbery of our Cradduck road branch. Our community is blessed to have such capable people protecting us. From the first officer on the scene, to the detectives working the case, all of them have done a great job in a very professional manner. I certainly support their efforts in prosecuting the crime to the fullest extent of the law.

I would like to also thank our customers and the members of the community who have shown support for our bank and our employees through this trying time. Your encouraging words help us to reflect on the positive aspects of a bad situation. I am thankful that no customers were in danger, I am thankful that no customer accounts were affected, but I am most thankful that no one was harmed.

While a robbery is not something I would want anyone else to go through, I can say that our law enforcement officials, customers and community have all helped to make a bad situation bearable.

Sincerely,

Jimmy Eppler
President
