OBA Foundation collecting monetary donations

By now I'm certain you've heard about the devastating tornado that struck Moore yesterday afternoon. Adrian Beverage, OBA's chief lobbyist, lives in Moore (his house and family were spared, thankfully) but he tells me it's even worse than it looks like on television. That's pretty bad.

I'm asking all OBA-member banks and their employees to be generous and make a tax-deductible contribution to the OBA Foundation. Your bank's participation and the participation by your employees will help us put together a good-sized fund from and on behalf of the banking industry. We'll work with the bankers on the ground in Moore and the other affected communities to make certain the money gets to the places where it will do the most direct good.

Please be generous. In addition, our Deluxe partners have offered to help. Deluxe has the capability of reprinting checks for any of the thousands of bank customers impacted. Please let us know if you have any customers who were adversely affected by the tornados.

Either click on the above "Donate" button, or make your bank check and your personal check payable to the OBA Foundation and mail it to "OBA Foundation", P.O. Box 960173, Oklahoma City, OK 73196-0173. We'll take it from there. Please join with me and make a tax-deductible contribution to help these folks in Moore, Shawnee and the surrounding areas.

Thank you very much.
