Watch OBA's Elaine Dodd speak on fraud Thursday

The OBA will host a unique live video event Thursday when it presents a speaking engagement by OBA fraud trainer/investigator Elaine Dodd over the new iPhone app Periscope.

Dodd will be speaking on fraud and giving tips and helpful insight on how banks, businesses and individuals can help avoid and stop fraud. Her speech is one session of the 2015 Senior Fraud Conference being held on June 25 in McAlester (there are other dates and locations for the conference: click here for more information.) Her part of the conference will start at approximately 10:45 a.m. and last around 45 minutes.

Everyone who has an internet connection can watch Elaine live by simply clicking on the link provided at the time of her speech on the OBA's Twitter feed (@OklahomaBankers). Downloading the Periscope app on your iPhone is not necessary to watch the event: anyone can watch from their computers at work or home.

However, by downloading the Periscope app, you will be able to interact with Elaine and ask questions via the chat function on the app.

We encourage as many bankers to watch as possible to give them a chance to gain some free fraud advice from one of the preeminent banking fraud trainer/investigators in the country! The video will be archived for use on the Periscope site, but only for 24 hours.

If you have questions about this event, or need help using Periscope or watching online, feel free to contact the OBA's Jeremy Cowen (jeremy@oba.com).
