News program highlights community bankers quest to not be lumped in with 'Wall Street'
The Oklahoma Horizon news program recently visited with some rural community bankers who warn not to lump them with the large investment banks that almost single-handedly took down our economy. They go on to explain why most of these community banks are the heart of their local communities.
See interviews from Oklahoma bankers Mike Frey in Kingfisher, Loren Rieger in Cherokee and Todd Welch in Kremlin as they explain how their banks – and others all throughout Oklahoma just like them – are serving the needs of Oklahomans, taking deposits and giving loans.
