Beverage, Thompson testify on banking hurdles with medical marijuana

OBA President and CEO Roger Beverage, along with Oklahoma State Commissioner Mick Thompson, testified on Oct. 10 before the Medical Marijuana Working Group, made up of state lawmakers in the both the House and Senate.

Beverage and Thompson discussed the difficulties facing Oklahoma banks in dealing with the burgeoning medical marijuana industry in the state.
