Okemah banker elected as OBA Emerging Leaders chair

Julie Stovall, with American Exchange Bank in Okemah, was elected by a vote of her peers to be the incoming OBA Emerging Leaders chair.

Stovall will serve a two-year term and will work closely with OBA staff to continue to build and direct the OBA Emerging Leaders program. The chair will also serve as a member on the OBA Board of Directors.

Stovall has been in the banking industry for more than 25 years and is a 2017 graduate of the OBA Emerging Leaders Academy. She currently serves as Okemah market president for American Exchange Bank, a position she has held for three years.
