The OBA is currently looking to fill the position of general counsel – our current legal staff remains available to assist our member bankers with their needs, however!
As we search, however, we wanted our bankers to know that Pauli and the rest of our compliance staff are standing by to continue their great service!
As for a new general counsel, the person hired for this position will work with the government relations team to evaluate current and proposed legislation. Additionally, the position will provide assistance to members, as well as serving as a speaker at Association events, on topics related to compliance and banking. He/she will assist with development of products and services of benefit to the membership as well as articles for Association publications.
