The Oklahoma City Branch of the Federal Reserve of Kansas City has released its latest issue of the quarterly publication the Oklahoma Economist.
Oklahoma’s economy continued to expand in 2018 with employment increasing solidly and the unemployment rate below the national average with wages rising, according to Chad Wilkerson, branch executive, vice president and economist at the Oklahoma City Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City.
Wilkerson said the outlook for key goods-producing sectors is encouraging heading into 2019 despite tariffs and lower oil prices.
