Banks stop $22.3 billion in fraud attempts in 2018
America’s banks prevented $22.3 billion in attempted fraud against deposit accounts in 2018, according to the American Bankers Association’s 2019 Deposit Account Fraud Survey report released on Jan. 15. Agencies release CRA asset-size threshold adjustments
The federal bank regulatory agencies announced on Dec. 31 the annual adjustment to the asset-size thresholds used to define small bank, small savings association, intermediate small bank, and intermediate small savings association under the Community Reinvestment Act regulations.
